The main press body of the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations is the scientific-practical magazine “Labor and Social Relations”. The magazine is published twice a year in the volume of 8-10 printed sheets, with a circulation of 200. Today, at a time when scientific journals are in the majority, the articles presented in the “Labor and social relations” scientific-practical journal show a high scientific level, training and strengthening of intellectual potential, improving the quality of education, contributing to the study of social labor relations problems, information technologies to apply the successes achieved in the field in recent years in international scientific cooperation, etc. such important tasks.
Scientific-practical magazine “Labor and social relations” is always open for intellectual discussions and exchange of ideas on scientific issues. Journal of social problems and economy of modern science, sociology, law, etc. It is a real discussion area of current issues related to development.

ABSTRACT
The role of the green economy in the economic activity of the society and the importance of its contributions as a social investment have been shown in the article. Determining the role of the green economy as a new social investment, it is shown how to effectively use it. The assessment of the rational use of green economy resources as a social investment model is explained. In order to ensure sustainable development, development perspectives compatible with the green economy are emphasized. Also, the article proposes the formation of the green economy as a social investment and ways of optimal use of it.
One of the most important issues in the modern world is to develop social and economic well-being. In this trend, Green economy plays an important role.
Purpose–the new concept of green economy in the welfare of the society is to determine the role of the new investment model and to examine the ways of their effective use.
Methodology-theoretical, economic and comparative analysis methods were used in the research of new concept and new investment model.
Research results-the role of green economy reserves in the economic activity of the society as a new concept and new investment model, the importance of the contributions of the effective use of green areas as a social investment to the country’s economy have been determined.
