WORKPLACE COACHING AND ITS EFFECTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF

ABSTRACT

Since the beginning of the XXI century, many companies have begun to pay more attention to the management of Human Resources. Companies now understand how important the learning and development function is. The 21st century is the “Information Age”, and the object of the industrial age must be based on a different paradigm. Published in 2013 by the Human Resource Management Association in the United States. The top four human resource management (HRM) challenges identified in the Workplace Trends and Forecasts report are: retaining the best employees, flextime and remote working, developing the next generation of corporate leaders as older generations of corporate leaders retire, and preserving corporate knowledge along the way; and Finding talented employees has become a necessity. Coaching has long been used as a development tool for managers in the business world. Realizing the impact of coaching, many companies today use it at all levels.

Purpose: Coaching, which is used as a development tool in companies in the business world, is an examination of the “Coaching at Work” approach for increasing the skills of employees, increasing their awareness, increasing their values, supporting changes and ensuring adaptation in the short term, as well as determining the role of employees in achieving their professional goals.

Methodology: It parallels the purpose of research and examines human behavior. A qualitative research method that provides a rich set of tools for investigating embedded phenomena is the collection of qualitative data through observation, interviewing, and analysis of previous research. By using these methods, the obtained information is obtained in a real and complete way.

Scientific novelty: Today, management culture is dominated by a modern approach to management, and managers have ceased to be those who give orders and carry out work, but have become leader-coaches who guide the development of the employee and, therefore, the company. When companies enter the market, they have certain goals and objectives that they need a certain number of workforce to achieve. However, it is not always possible to reach the set goals. In such cases, both the company and the employees benefit from the Coaching service in order to ensure their development. Taking advantage of this service has become widespread in our time, thanks to which companies can ensure the development of their knowledge, skills and opportunities, discover their potential, increase their motivation and self-confidence, and reach the maximum performance by overcoming the barriers that hinder it. Thus, the study of services and applied research can be evaluated as a scientific innovation.
