The magazine is published twice a year in the volume of 8-10 printed sheets, with a circulation of 200. Today, at a time when scientific journals are in the majority, the articles presented in the “Labor and social relations” scientific-practical journal show a high scientific level, training and strengthening of intellectual potential, improving the quality of education, contributing to the study of social labor relations problems, information technologies to apply the successes achieved in the field in recent years in international scientific cooperation, etc. such important tasks.

ABSTRACT
The increasing role of the energy factor in agricultural production determines the relevance of energy analysis issues in the effective development of the industry. The problems of efficient use of energy resources while improving the economic and environmental performance of modern agricultural activities have recently attracted the attention of researchers. However, the analysis of energy efficiency of agricultural production, including assessment of the influence of factors determining the level of energy capacity, has not been sufficiently studied. Determining the energy needs of innovative activities in agriculture and the energy intensity of products requires comprehensive scientific, theoretical and experimental research. Tightening environmental protection requirements also makes a new approach to the energy capacity of products an objective necessity. The presented article discusses the mentioned problems.
The purpose of the study is to study current theoretical and practical problems of using energy resources in the production of agricultural products, assess the relationship between energy intensity and operational efficiency, identify opportunities for reducing the energy intensity of manufactured products and determine the direction of their implementation.
Methodology – during the research, the basic principles of energy efficiency in the production of agricultural products were touched upon and the strategic importance of increasing the energy efficiency of the industry was explained. When preparing the article, methods of observation, economic-statistical, scientific abstraction, generalization, as well as research by economists on this topic were used.
Scientific novelty – the main scientific novelty achieved in the article is the characterization of the energy efficiency system of agricultural production and the identification of directions for creating a favorable environment for reducing energy efficiency.
